Chairman: Stephen A Kovacs
Chairman Kovacs joined the board in 1995. He holds a BA in Archeology from Harvard, an MBA from University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Yale. His management firm, Kovac Associates, is an international consulting firm dealing with issues of intellectual property. His interests include Ancient Greek culture and maritime archeology. The chairman is also an accomplished bridge player, being internationally ranked.
Senior Vice chairman: Adrian McLean
Dr. McLean joined the board in 1998. As a managing partner in McLean and Broad, he is involved with labor negotiations around the world. He attended University of Chicago for his BA and MBA, and earned a Ph.D. in Labor Relations from Cornell University. He has published extensively on his areas of interest, with 3 books and over 15 peer-reviewed articles. He is also an accomplished musician.
Junior Vice chairman: J. Edwards Sinasac
Born in the UK, Mr. Sinasac graduated with honors from the Economics and Management from Pembroke College (part of Oxford University). After spending several years working for the British Government, he was transferred to the US, as a trade representative. While in the US, he earned an MBA from Columbia. After leaving the employ of the British government, Mr. Sinasac started the venture capital group, "The New Horizons Group."
Recorder: Hans H.P.B. Sneedon
Born and educated in the Netherlands, Mr. Sneedon became an international lawyer for Royal Phillips Electronics. His work on international patent law attracted the attention of several US companies, where he eventually was hired by General Electric. He speaks fluently 6 languages, and in his spare time fancies himself a mountain climber and explorer.
Reporter: Brandon Larson-Leary
Director Larson-Leary started his career as a professional footballer for Luton Town FC during their run at the League Cup in 1988. A severe knee injury cut his professional career short. He moved into acting, but soon became enamored with directing. Most of his work was of the action-adventure block-buster kind, but he also dabbled in documentaries about world history and the archeological context of these discoveries.
Treasurer: Alan S. Boyer
A Chicago Trained Economist, Director Boyer made a reputation starting as a floor trader, and working his way up to running an investment firm. He later worked as part of the Federal Reserve, and is currently a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. He has been active in charitable work related to supporting museum development. His personal interests include horseback riding, fencing and shooting, having trained for the modern pentathlon.
Master at arms: Jeremiah Hanes
